Build Quality
First and foremost, the build quality of this camera is top-notch. It feels solid and well-constructed in your hand, with a durable magnesium alloy body that is both lightweight and sturdy. The buttons and controls are intuitively placed, making it easy to adjust settings on the fly. The weather-sealing is also a nice touch, giving me peace of mind when shooting in inclement weather.
Fujifilm is a pioneer in camera manufacturing for decades. X series cameras have same old vintage and solid look with great build quality. If you are an enthusiast, you know how cool those film cameras were during early 80s and 90s. XT4 is undoubetdly has the same class with even better and more advanced features.
Comparison with Predecessors
In terms of performance, the XT4 is a significant upgrade from the previous Fujifilm cameras in the XT series. The autofocus system is faster and more accurate, with 425 phase detection points that cover almost the entire frame. This means that you can confidently capture fast-moving subjects without missing a beat. The image stabilization system is also impressive, allowing me to shoot at slower shutter speeds without worrying about camera shake.
The Fujifilm X-T4 is the company's most recent high-end APS-C mirrorless camera. It enhances the already capable X-T3 with in-body stabilization, faster shooting, improved autofocus, and a larger battery. The Camera doesnt come with the charger so you might need buy one.
landscape Photography with XT4
One of the things I love about Fujifilm cameras is their ability to capture stunning landscapes. The XT4 is no exception, with its 26.1 megapixel sensor and wide dynamic range. The colors are rich and vibrant, and the detail is sharp and crisp. I found myself constantly impressed by the quality of the images, especially the color profile and natural saturation it provides in raw files I was able to capture.
Portrait Photography with XT4
But the XT4 isn't just a one-trick pony. It's also a great camera for portrait photography. The face and eye detection autofocus system makes it easy to focus on your subject's eyes, which is crucial for creating a flattering portrait. The skin tones are also accurately rendered, giving your portraits a natural and lifelike look.
Architecture Photography with XT4
Architecture photography is another area where the XT4 shines. The camera's high resolution sensor and wide dynamic range make it easy to capture the intricate details of a building, while the tilt-screen allows for low-angle shots without having to lay on the ground. The manual focus peaking and focus assist also make it easy to get the focus just right.
Black & White Photography with XT4
For those who love black and white photography, the XT4 offers a variety of film simulation modes, including the popular Acros black and white mode. This mode gives your photos a classic, timeless look and feel, and I found it to be particularly effective for street and documentary photography.
Travel Photography with XT4
Lastly, the Fujifilm XT4 is an excellent camera for travel photography. Its compact and lightweight design makes it easy to take with you on the go, and its fast autofocus and image stabilization system ensures that you never miss a shot. The camera's battery life is also impressive, giving you the freedom to shoot all day without worrying about running out of power.
Summary
In conclusion, the Fujifilm XT4 is a versatile and powerful camera that is suitable for a wide range of photography genres. Its build quality is excellent, and its performance is top-notch. Whether you're a landscape photographer, a portrait photographer, or a travel photographer, the XT4 is sure to impress. It is a camera that will not disappoint and will be a great investment for any photographer looking to take their craft to the next level. In simple words, its a very light weight, auto focus is superb and raw files provide naturally saturated colors.
A few drawbacks are as it doesnt come with a charger so you might need to put your camera aside to charge it. I also found the tilted screen hinges (a great advantage) to be little weak. After a week of use, something tiny got seperated from hinge and I was a bit shocked. The grip is also an issue to be honest, thats the exact reason why almost every XT4 owner has battery or L-bracket grips.
